Doug Worful, DMD, PC
For as long as I can remember, I have been drawn to healthcare to help others. I realized my childhood dentist had a friendly, long-lasting relationship with me and his other patients. That combination of relationship, care, science, and art drew me to dentistry. I love healthy, white smiles!.
I was raised in Lexington, Kentucky and thoroughly enjoyed my time there. Once I had completed my education at the University of Kentucky, I moved down to the Atlanta area because it was a really happening place at the time. The Braves were winning, the Olympics had just taken place and I have always had family here. Soon after moving to Atlanta I met my wife Jennifer, and am now here to stay. We have two wonderful daughters that keep us active, Alaina (13) and Reese (11). I coach Reese’s lacrosse team and exercise when possible. I definitely enjoy eating and talking with friends as well as contagious laughter!
What drew me to the North Atlanta area was the similarity it had with Lexington: friendly people, horse farms, and a perfect combination of city and country. It’s been a joy being a part of the community in Fulton, Cherokee, and Forsyth counties. I have made many amazing relationships in our 17 years of dental care.
A special passion of mine is serving others. I am thankful to have provided dental care at Hope for Guatemala 6 years in a row. It has sparked a desire to serve others locally as well, which we do as a team on our Community Days throughout the year.
