Education
Raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Doug earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Kentucky.
Advanced Training
Through Molis Coaching, he has gained expertise in Invisalign® Clear Aligner treatment. He has also expanded his skillset in the area of facial aesthetics (Dysport®) through the American Academy of Facial Aesthetics. To deliver the highest level of cosmetic dentistry, he has completed advanced clinical courses through the Hornbrook Clinical Education.
Missions & Community
Dr. Doug’s passion for serving others shows itself through the many mission trips he has taken around the world to serve the underserved. He is also dedicated to delivering free dental care three days a year to those who need it most in our community. For over a decade, has been a proud supporter and dental caregiver for No Longer Bound, Cherokee Family Violence Shelter, and The Place of Forsyth County.
Home Life
Dr. Doug has been happily married for over 20 years to the smartest, most beautiful, creative and giving wife, Jennifer. They love spending time with their 2 daughters, Alaina and Reese, who both attend West Forsyth High School. The whole family is very involved with Browns Bridge Church. Dr. Doug enjoys running the Big Creek Greenway with his two Aussie-doodles, Benny and Bear, as well as hiking, camping, bourbon, smoking meat, keeping family traditions, watching Marvel movies and UK sports.

Education
Dr. Lina is originally from Illinois. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois, majoring in molecular and cellular biology with a minor in chemistry. Soon after, she earned her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry. Here at Alpharetta Smile Care, she will be performing many dental procedures, including cosmetic dentistry, root canals, extractions and fixed/removable prosthetics. We can't wait for you to meet her!
